HOW TO GET A LIBRARY CARD
Come into the Los Banos Library to register for a library card, and access a world of unlimited information. 

LIBRARY CARD APPLICATIONS
Adult - English | Spanish 
Children - English | Spanish

PLEASE NOTE: 
If your current address is not on your photo ID, please bring in one item to verify your current address. Acceptable items are provided below. 

Preferred Photo Identification
•California Driver's License 
California Identification Card 
•Government Issued ID Card 
•Current Passport 

Please note: A parent's or guardian's identification is required for a juvenile's registration. The juvenile must be present to receive a card. 


Verification Of Address
•Recent utility bill 
•Official mail via USPS with recent postmark 
•Vehicle registration or proof of insurance 
•Imprinted checkbook 
•Current rental / lease agreement 

Please note: If an adult does not have a photo ID, two of the three items noted above may be used. The library card in turn will be mailed to the patron at the provided address.

Tiny Tales & Craft 
Thursdays (Weekly) at 10:30 am, at the Los Banos Library.

Para Los Niños
Fridays (Weekly) at 10:30 am. at the Los Banos Library. Bi-lingual Stories.

Sensory Playgroup: Wednesdays (Weekly) at 10:30 am, at the Los Banos Library

 


BENEFITS OF A LIBRARY CARD

You can use the Online Catalog (ValleyCat) to search all the titles and authors available to adults and young people throughout the San Joaquin Valley Library System (SJVLS). If you don't have a computer at home, come into the library and browse using our ValleyCat computers. If the book or material you want is in the system, you can request it be sent to the Los Banos Library for check out! Whether your interest is fiction or nonfiction, our books and materials have you covered. Add to that the more than three million (and increasing) items in the San Joaquin Valley Library System, and you have an unending source of new information available each day.
